Ukraine Humanitarian Fund

The Ukraine Humanitarian Fund is one of the UN’s country-based pooled funds. Contributions are collected into a single, unearmarked fund and managed locally under UN leadership.

As crises evolve, funds are made directly and immediately available to a wide range of partner organizations at the front lines of response. This way, funding reaches the people most in need when they need it.

Donations help humanitarian NGOs and UN agencies in Ukraine to assist with urgently needed food, water, shelter, and other basic support. We support the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund and so can you.

Irma & Joe Garica of Uvalde, TX

We provided support for the children of Irma Garcia, a beloved schoolteacher killed in the Uvalde, Texas, school shooting, and Joe Garcia, her husband, who died of a heart attack days later.

Irma Garcia had worked as a teacher for 23 years, according to her school biography page. She was killed along with her colleague, Eva Mireles, and 19 children, by an 18-year-old gunman. It was the country’s deadliest school shooting in nearly 10 years. A GoFundMe campaign was set up by Irma Garcia’s cousin that we support and so can you.

Helping People in Buffalo

On May 14, 2022, a mass shooting occurred in Buffalo, NY, at a Tops Friendly Markets store, a supermarket in the East Side neighborhood.

Ten Americans were killed. We communicated with Lauralynn Drury, who grew up in Buffalo, about the recent targeted, gruesome, racist attack at the sole supermarket that serves a predominantly black part of the city.

This supermarket is closed. On top of the trauma, the community now has less access to food. She is working with Hearts for the Homeless to get food to the area. We made a donation to Hearts for the Homeless and so can you.
